Top 5 Coffee Recipes for this Winter

Winter is here and there are two types of people in this world: those who love winter and those who hate it. I don’t want to say that I hate winter (i’ll save that for the end of march) as there are many things I actually enjoy about this season. And the thing that I enjoy the most, my essential companion during the colder months, is hot coffee! I love taking a break to make myself a nice cup of coffee, I love going for walks with my favourite coffee in my flask, and I get excited about going to a coffee shop with friends. So I came up with a list of winter coffee recipes to try this year. I’m going to call this one my winter survival list. Hopefully this will make winter more interesting and enjoyable for you and me.

I know I’m not alone when I say that there’s nothing quite like the comforting embrace of a steaming cup of coffee in the chill of winter. It almost feels like the rich aroma and the delightful flavour of coffee softens the cold winter air and adds that much needed touch of warmth to our days.

So let’s dig in and start exploring these recipes together.

Top 5 Winter Coffee Recipes you must try

Cinnamon Dolce Latte

Ingredients:

Espresso: Brew your favourite espresso, using your preferred brewing method.

Milk: I use whole milk as I find it creamer, you can use your preferred dairy or non dairy milk.

Cinnamon Dolce mix: You can make your own mix or use a cinnamon dolce syrup. To make your own mix: use ½ tsp ground cinnamon, ⅛ tsp ground nutmeg, 1 tsp brown sugar and vanilla extract. Alternatively, use maple syrup, agave syrup or any other sweetener you like instead of brown sugar.

You can adjust the amounts as desired, I find nutmeg too strong which is why I put a very small amount.

Cream: whipped cream on top (optional)
